Transfer Ring tones?
Does anybody know how to transfer ring tones with out using the PC media kit. Is it possible to transfer ring tones using UME 24.
...

...
Any phone, I just want to know if it is possible and if with what phones and how.
...
well, i send my ringtones via mms and not through get it now. So mine are all saved on my computer and when i get a new phone i just resend them. As far as transfering gin ringtones i am not aware of any in store machines capable of that as of yet, but the rumor is there is a replacement for the ume 24 real soon and it is supposed to transfer ringtones, but we will see, supposed to be anytime now. Oh if you use bitpim you can also do it that way, i took some ringtones from my 8000 and moved them to my computer then loaded them on my 8100 with no issues.
...
so you just send the the ringtone to you email I assume and than resend them to another phone.
...
