3rd party re-sellers?
I'm going to switch to Verizon this month, and I'm wondering about using a 3rd party (e.g. Let's Talk). They seem to offer just the same/standard rate plans, but the phones are a good bit cheaper (especially for a 1-year contract).
I'm sure folks have opinions about this, so please let me hear them.

The only thin with 3rd party is they can put their own stuff in the service agreement...as for if anything goes wrong with the phone i.e. Man. Defects you could have issues getting it fixed since they are not usually technically trained...also when it goes with ETF's they can add an ETF on top of our 175.00. So just be careful with the service agreement if anything...hope this helps

🙂 FYI: Do NOT call indirect dealers re-sellers. Re-sellers are companies that market the service under their own name, but the service is actually provided by a different company (NorVergence, you could also consider Virgin Mobile and Qwest Wireless, both use Sprint pcs's network.
Just referred to them as indirect, independent dealers, but not re-sellers. 😉

Did someone hit a soft spot there buddy

Actually, Virgin Mobile's proper title would be Virtual Mobile Network Operator. They have entered into a usage agreement with Sprint, where a reseller would buy TIME on the network and mark it up in most cases.

Verizon pre-pay would be corectly considered a reseller.
