Well this post-er, z1, came on here and started busting 11 differnent posters for loving what they do and helping other people basically, and from that day forth we are known as the "Council of 11!!!!"

You just might be right - she IS yummy. I saw her on The Daily Show a few months back, and it turns out she's from Paducah, KY, where a large part of my mom's family is from. I was impressed.

...he was trying to flame us 11 for answering 90% of the questions on this forum..
we answer these questions at work on our down-time, not at home on our days off.. so if you don't want our help, then don't ask questions.. 👿

I would love to know what she was thinking myself... I knew she was weird when I first dealt with her, and I wasn't surprised when she came back in with this story. She claimed that I had told her the activation fees would be waived. Of course I know I didn't because they are never waived and I'm not stupid or dishonest enough to think I'd get away with something like that. I told her that I might possibly have said that I was giving her extra money off the price of the phones that was equal to or more than the cost of the activation fees, because I have used that technique before. I suggested that she must have misunderstood me, and then she launched into her tirade, telling me that I had "done it under the table." The funny thing is t...

Can anyone tell me why is it that when I visit my local Vrz store, that they will NOT show me the map of where their towers are?
I have their America's Choice Plan, and 8 miles east of where I live I get no signal. And when I visit Levy County, Fl(zipcode 3266😎 no coverage not even analog. I had better coverage ATTWS TDMA service.
I am thinking of paying the ETF and going with Cingular. Verizon's coverage in the Gainesville/Ocala Florida area is NOT impressive.
If Verizon does not one to share the tower info, as did Cingular and T-Mobile did, I guess I'm just another number to them. I am beginning to believe that most of Florida seems to do better off the CDMA trail.

I believe that the tower maps are considered proprietary and confidential by Verizon, so that may be the reason.

To elaborate a bit on that;
If some can recall an issue that happened in MN at a local VzW store where a disgruntled customer assaulted the store causing much property damage to the store & threatening the employees therein. Imagine the damage a customer might try to do to a tower knowing it was with the company that "wronged" them?!?!
Perhaps those other companies are free & easy with their tower locations, but that's their fueneral...

Well heres the thing, customer service reps in call center have this little tool where we can map out the actual towers in your area...we do this for trouble shooting issues... now we can adv customer " hey there is a tower about 5-6 miles to the SW of you" or whatever the case may be but we're not going to give you an exact location...try calling in to a CSR they might be able to give you a little more help...

Property lines and property owners are public records on file at city hall, the county seat, or with your local planning commision. You can find out this information yourself with a little work. VZW doesn't provide this information because of the cost associated with it. We alread...
