I have my pink razr activated but would like to tranfer my numbers from my old phone. I thought I recalled a way this can be done at local store. How much $$ is this and does it also transfer your ring tones that you have paid to download?
THANKS!!!

Yes you can get the numbers transferred to your new phone through a verizon store. You will need your old phone and it will need to be able to power on, then the machine can transfer the numbers. As far as I know, most locations charge about 10 bucks.

A normal conversation

Yes, we can transfer your phone book contacts but not your ringtones or pictures.

What about games I just bought tetris for $9.99 and all those rigntones I bought, you can't transfer them?

No, I'm sorry we can only transfer the contents of the phonebook. NOT the games, pictures or ringtones.

So my pictures are lost you can't transfer them?

NO, WE CAN ONLY TRANSFER THE CONTENTS OF YOUR PHONEBOOK.

Well, that doesn't seem right.

When the wife upgraded, she sent all her pix to my phone (in pix msgs) transfered the phone book, returned the pix via miniSD (could have sent them). but the ring-tones and games are gone.
No matter they were getting boring anyway
polyphonic...

This only justifies purchasing more.

My store charges $9.00 for the phone book transfer unless you get someone really in a good mood or you bought the phone from us. You can TRY to call CS to get old ring tone credits back but I doubt they'll give you any. Especially if they were more than one month old.
