RAZR v3m Release

I was just wondering if anyone had any info on when the v3m is scheduled to release. I have read a couple of reports that say it will be out within the next couple weeks. Can anyone confirm or deny that?

My dad is NE2 eligible and used it on the v3c and had gone through 3 of them in one week. I just want to be able to tell him whether he should try another v3c or wait return it and wait for the v3m.

No info on the release. From what I've heard, the V3m is exactly the same as the V3c except for adding a transflash card underneath the battery, and adding headphone support for the miniusb port.

They didn't make the first razr music friendly, so now with the vcast music out, they want to put out as many phones as possible that can download music. (and increase their revenue)

Personally, I'd give the razr back and trade up for a Moto e815, a much better phone. Your dad can't be feeling too great about the razr after going through three in one week!

Better signal, more internal memory, WAY better battery life, Motorola software (a plus in my opinion) all stack up to make it a better phone. Compare the phone scoop reviews. Oh yeah, the e815 was the #1 cdma phone in February's Consumer Reports review, from what I've heard.

We don't want an 815. Been there, done that. My dad has no use for EVDO so the 815 wouldn't be any type of upgrade from his v710. He likes the form factor of the RAZR so I am most interested in the v3m. If it were me, I would just get a smartphone (I love my Treo), but that is way over Dad's head.
