Check the LG VX4500 user reports & see for yourself. It's a decent phone, nothing to write the pope about. No widely reported issues with it as far as I can see.

the only thing I would watch out for is the dual band...if you travel into bfe analog it will not work...just a heads up

the 4500 is actually a very good phone. couple of employees here have it and they say that it works everywhere. it has a very good speakerphone and is very loud and easy to see. if you dont need the camera option then get this phone.

I have the 4500, and it is a very nice phone. Very easy to use, very user friendly, and the driving mode/speaker phone is very good in my opinion.
I have had it for a few months now. I have no need for analog, even on my 4400, I had it set on Digital only, so I never used analog anyway, so it was no problem for me not to have the analog.
