The question of the day....
I was jus wondering how many texts you guys use on average in a month? Since the IN calling plan, a couple of my friends have had over 10k texts, like 5k recieved, and 5k sent.
I personally have never went over 3k texts (all together) myself in a month, and thats with ppl from my MSN messaging me, along with all my friends.
So, just estimated guesses I am sure for most of you, but how many texts do u think u go through a day, and wat text packages, if any, do u use to help?

the most i've used was 184 txt in a month. aside from things like "food (can I have it?) (can you pick it up?) I only use my text (hell i only use my phone) mostly for troubleshooting customer lines.

My daughter Elsa, had nearly 17,000 sms in one month last year. Thankfully it was shortly after the Unlimited In text package came out so she was saved, but when I saw that bill... 😳 ... and supposedly when I brought it up to her, she's the one that texts the least...

WOW. A text message every 2 and a half minutes. And that is if she doesn't sleep! I hope she found time for school studies...

But you actually are making my point... these high school kids live on these phones... I'm just glad she it happened after she had all of her essentials done and she was just waitin out the rest of her sr year for college.

Wasn't trying to be a smart a$$. I was just in awe. I know that this is sent and recieved. Still it breaks down to a text every 2 and a half minutes. That has to be some kind of record.

Lets see... 18 year old popular girl in high school... yeah its more than doable. Especially out here in Scottsdale where the girls are always active, always gossiping... I don't know how they do it.
Actually coming from London, to Philly, now to Scottsdale, it was a culture shock for myself because here you have an environment where its ALWAYS NICE... i mean we haven't had rain since August and the average temperature, even in the winter is like 72 degrees. Because of that people are always active.
Its why you dont' see any fat people here.

So far I have found out that Gunny doesn't use text, and that some person daughter texts enuff to make up for Gunny and prolly 15 others on this forum. So I bring about another question, since Verizon highest package is 2500 additional texts, if you us your phone for MSN, AIM, Yahoo Chat etc. etc. Wat do u do when you have go over, just foot the $200+ phone bills? I mean seriously. Maybe as customers we should propose a decree for Verizon to get an Unlimited package. Hell even if it was $20 extra a month, it would be worth it (especially for miss "The Flash" fingers over there). How about everyone start calling customer care today, and start demanding an Unlimited PERIOD text package? I figure if i can get everyone in this forum to st...

Well before Unlimited In, she didn't text that much. Being a single dad for the last 15 years, I have always raised Elsa to be a responsible person. It was only when I put that texting package on her phone did she run with it.
"Miss Flash Fingers..."
Its not real hard to accumulate alot of texts when you have 15-20 people all sending IM's to each other.
I will say this... I'm not one of these parents where they let their kids charge massive charges to their cell phone bill and still let them have their phone. If she would have charged anything over 20 bucks, her phone would have been taken. She's a kid... she doesn't need a phone.
I will say this, it seems to me that texting is a ph...
