Crappy customer service

I had a bad experience with customer service yesterday, this really proves why Verizon sucks and that their 36 million customers have been brain washed.

I called in to get a new phone because I dropped mine in the lake. Customer service rep told me that I can't get a new phone for free--that's bullshit. I've been a customer for 6 months, therfore I deserve a new phone. Verizon owes me for my phone getting wet. Besides, about 1 out of 10 calls drop (usually when I'm driving through a tunnel)--superior coverage my ass. I also declined insurance because it's a waist of money and because big companies can afford to take a hit; they should take one for me 'cause I'm such a great customer.

So Let's Summarize: 1.) Customer 6 months, what makes that a great customer? 2.) Phone drops calls in Tunnels, because Cell Phones are portable radios and operate via "LINE SIGHT".
3.) You Dropped "your" phone into a lake, Who's fault is that? 4.)Verizon owes you, How?

Accept personal responsibility for your actions, growing old is mandatory, but growing up is optional🤣 🤣 🤣

ummm.... I think he was being sarcastic. Acting like a spoiled customer who thinks the world owes him something.. At least that's how I interpreted it.

You are exactly right. Some people have a lot of difficulty recognizing something written with a touch of sarcasm, and take the words at face value.

That's just tells us that he thinks a WIRELESS phone has a wire attached to the back of it so he never drops a call. 😳 And that he thinks phones are like candy can buy one @ 5 cents a piece. 🙄

I'm going to disconnect all 5 of my lines, i dont care about the $175 early termination fee for each line. Verizon Wireless does not deserve my business; i'm going to t-mobile they are way better.

Please reconsider. You need to consider the coverage area. T mobile coverage is a fraction of what Verizon's is. Unless you do not travel off a super major highway or out of the major cities they cover, it will not work for you. Try it again and get someone who will take care of you-they are out there!

Sounds like a cell phone customer no matter what carrier. I do Nextel Care, I had a guy who wanted to cancel 10 phones because he was told by care that his 200 minutes would carry over if he changed his price plan. That is not the policy and I could not give them back.

Oh well, I take the calm approach to cell phone, it works it works, it don't it don't.
