Verizon TO Buy Out Alltel

Does anybody know about the possible buy out of Alltel? I hear that Verizon might be buying out Alltel in the Wisconsin area!

If Verizon really wanted to be #1 in customer ads they would be. All they would have to do is start whoring out cheap ass prepaid phones like other carriers. Verizon currently has more post paid subscribers and the lowest churn in the industry and they are happy with that. If they wanted their Revenue per suscriber to drop and churn to go up they could just throw some low cost crappy refurb prepaid phones like um....At&t, or whatever the hell their name is this month, and simply booste their numbers anytime the wanted.
