Have you noticed it like that no matter which company your with.. And it's not the customer service that sucks, its the WAITING that sucks. The customer service is good.. Mabey if more people would learn how to pay there bill online, or over the phone using #PMT or whatever else they can take care of either online or though a customer service rep over the phone, mabey the store would clear up a little to allow people with REAL needs in..

Put it this way I've been to a couple locations in NJ..the store in Union, NJ (LINE OUT THE DOOR) anytime you try to stop by.... Livingston Mall... so slow in helping customers even at 8:30 at night (people not friendly alway got attitude)... and the store in Lawrenceville...is ok but nothing special.. and the store in the bridgewater mall need to be larger always bumpng into people and those dumb desk in the front take up way to much space..... I would say out of those Bridgewater has the best but its still not great...

You know what, mabey they are slow in helping customers becuz they are actually wanting to HELP the customer and fix thier problem instead of rushing them out the store. Or mabey you just keep coming in a busy times.. But if you think thier attitude is bad towards you them report them to thier store manager. Mabey thier attitude is a little off becuz they are tired becuz of not being able to take a breather or two becuz it is sooo busy.. Mabey you should try doing thier job for a day and see how they feel. Sometimes it's hard to keep a happy attitude when you have been on your feet all day without a proper break, and from having to deal with all the stuff they go through... Try this next time you go to the store.. Tell the rep he's doing a g...

Crappy Customer Service... A general Unwillingness to care or help... This is the norm for Cellular Customer Service... Verizon is no exception... I rate Verizon Wireless Customer Service, maybee a 5 out of 10... But, the other Cellular Companies Customer Service is much worse... At least at Verizon you can talk to someone, and they will escalate the issue if you request...

Any why should these companies care about customer service... Verizon has been so profitable, there is no need...

You know what, that is not the right attitude to have for your job.. You should always be respectful, whether or not your getting cussed out or not. Remember you represent the company. If you can't handle a person being rude to you, then have a supervisor take the call instead. And you do know if you are caught be rude to a customer, whether the customer was rude first or not, you can be terminated if being monitored.

If you work in customer service, then you should be nice to everyone that is your job. If you can't do that, then get another job. You are there to be of service to the public, which unfortunately is not always nice, but you are getting paid to be polite and to be of service.

I'm sorry dog but I really resent your comment about customer service. I know your type because I deal with you everyday. You walk into the store, see there's a line of people, and when its your turn to be waited on your cop an attitude with the person trying to help you. When a customer walks into my store, he is taken care of to the best of our ability and if its something we can't handle, they are sent in the direction of who can help them. And as for people giving you wrong answers, or not knowing the answers, cellular is a tough business to be in. Granted, the reps should know their stuff, but its difficult to have the answer to every question that you come in contact with. I've been in the business for 3 years and I still stumble ...

I am always polite to all customers who call into Customer Care for AT&T. Even those ranting and raving. I am always empathetic, and will usually be so nice its almost condecending to the customer on occasion due to their attitude. 🙂 Once you've worked in the business long enough, you find ways to basically say 'screw off' in the most polite, and nicest way possible, and they usually figure out a week later 'Hey wait a minute, I think that rep insulted me!'. 😛

Of course if you're professional and courtious on the phone, you will recive better customer service, but just because the customer is a little 'difficult', doesn't mean you can go off on them. The only customers i dislike are those who are verbally abusive, insultive, and belige...

AT&T. now, you sound great. I will be there Friday. Customers who have been loyal for 4 or 5 years and pay 200 a month deserve the benefit of that attitude.

Have fun at att, and VZW will welcome you back when you find out that their service sucks, and you can not get a signal. Wait until porting numbers are released, and you will see that ATT has the largest amount of defecters.

Let me let you in on a little secret. Customer's who call in and are nice about their problems with get more attention. People who are rude and immature, will get help, after they are told to calm down and not yell, kinda like in preschool. We are here to help, but respect is a must.

that is no secret, but it is patronizing. Are you in customer service also? It is a difficult job and I would not want it. I respect everyone I am simply disappointed with verizon's customer service so much so that paying the 175 is a pleasure.

Can you hear me now?
