Question
I work for an agent in Ohio, and I have an agent plan on my Verizon Phone...and I went to Logansport, Indiana this last weekend. I was roaming in Logansport, Indiana but when I drove 15 minutes to Kokomo, Indiana I was not. Does anyone know on agent plans, does it not include extended network? I can use my phone on the Alltel Extended Network over in Ohio. I know the area that I was in and I was roaming in was a Digital US Cellular Area.
I am just curious. I have the VX4500, and I used to have the VX4400, and I was in roam with the 4400 also.

was roaming blinking,or triangle or was it solid.if solid you was on roam.if blinking you was on extended.
...
No, it was solid. I looked at the serving system, and it said 1200, and I just know that 1200 is US Cellular.
I do not know if there is a missing code on my account or what.
I will probably have to call or email Verizon to ask them why.

From what I understand, the agent/employee plan footprint is different in some cases from the America's Choice footprint. I also hear tell that the rep footprint is different (larger) from both of the above, etc, etc.
I have America's Choice on my handset, and by demo phones both have the demo footprint - I can get coverage in some spots with my personal phone that I'm roaming in with my VZ handsets. Eh, what are ya gonna do...

Maybe this will help...
You don't receive any additional coverage from one America's Choice plan to another, unless you have an all-digital phone or a tri-mode phone. Third party vendor plans in your area should be the standard America's Choice coverage. Keep in mind that you went from a tri-mode phone (vx4400) to an all-digital phone (vx4500), which may be the cause for different coverage.
