Maybe it is time for the original poster to get a new job, as the stresses of taking care of all of verizon's customers is just to hard to do anymore since they are all dumb. As you just proved that you are not able to represent your company in a professional matter anymore, you are burned out. Coming on a forum and making a post like that shows very little respect for your company that is paying you. There is definitely a double standard. Customer's get upset when VZW employees post vent messages but they egg each other on when calling VZW employees idiots, etc. All of a sudden, everyone has a story or something similar has happened to them. Agents come on here talking about being ripped off by VZW Corporate. Everyone is giving themselves a black eye.
I think this would make for a much more productive environment if everyone just calms down and remember to come here seeking camaraderie and information.

I think VZW employees should act professional and do their jobs well when taking calls (or store visits) from customers. At the same time, I think customers needs to realize they are calling (or visiting) a place of business and stop coming off as jack asses when they don't get their way. If both sides did this, hold/wait times would decrease drastically and the call flow would be much easier. This is just my opinion, though.

So this woman lives about half an hour plus from the nearst verizon store (mind you, this is Colorado..). This past saturday she brought in her samsung 670 (currently none available in the western area or via "direct FRUfill") as well as the one she recieved from warehouse. I did the phonebook swap, but the customer stated she was having charging problems with it. Upset already, this being here third trip (once to report problem, not resolved, again due to problem reccuring, direct frufilled to resolve), I troubleshot the fru and made the [initial] diagnosis that it was a charger problem [phone was showing charging on a store charger, no charge...

Or how about when I called up my local corporate verizon store to inquire about the 6256i and the genious on the other line tells me that it is not out for verizon yet and that I may have seen it with Cingular since they get most of the phones before verizon. I guess verizon uses GSM in her world.
