Does that mean Nov 12 is the release date?

what's to understand, do you even have verizon service?, how long have you been a customer?
So yeah, I'm probably goin' Verizon.

I don' have Verizon. But I'm thinkin' I'm probably goin' to sign up with them. T-Mobile don' have the coverage, Sprint-Nextel don' have the hybrid phones yet they need to use both their networks, and Cingular's got.. excuses. And a lotta hostile weird people on their forum.
So yeah, I'm probably goin' Verizon.
Good choice π The Nokia 6256i would be an excellent choice for you're first phone. I want it and the RAZR for my next two phones.
The nokia is most exciting do to it's possible un-cripple bluetooth and Nokia's solid reputation.
I just activated it and started to play with it about 1 hour ago.. Give me till tonight to post some good stuff about it.
So far here is what I can tell you..
The keypad is the first thing I noticed I liked very much. Big keys and a great tactile feel.
Speaker phone is the best I have seen. People can not tell at all if you are on the earpiece or speaker. I have tried this with 5 people already and they have no idea. This is very good.
The menu system is nice and kind of samsung like. It's not the new LG type crappy menu. It's their own and I like it.
The graphics are very good with awesome colors and really nice text. The font they use is very good.
BLUETOOTH IS ENABLED 100%...

I'm also waiting to see if that phone has full BT implimintation before finally moving to Verizon.
I really think it does, which is great news. I saw a picture of the box over on hofo and it states full Bluetooth. I'm not buying the phone for obex; I good give a fig about that. I have obex on my e815 and never use it. I want this phone because I like nokia and flip phones. I like the looks of this phone and that key pad looks perfect for me. I also like the straight lines of the phone. I really think it will be a solid performer. And from what is being said it looks like no verizon UI.
Should only be a few more days for the Nokia
And only about three weeks for the RAZR.
I canβt wait...

I was playing around with this phone a little while ago, and I wanted to let all you people know that it isn't coming out directly for Verizon. It will only be available for indirect sales. Verizon does not know when the phone will be released, but it will have full bluetooth capabilities, and will have the Verizon Wireless UI, and will not have Get IT now. We were able to test out the unrestricted bluetooth, and it does work with a bluetooth adapter on your computer as well as other things. The bad part is that the MiniSD card slot will be under the battery (unlike other models that have it on the side). The phone will not have EVDO or VCast on it either. All in all this phone seems just like any othe

Gunny... I am just calling it like I see it. You want to buy a phone that ONLY has unrestricted bluetooth, go for it. First one that VZW put out! I am happy about that. But if you want more in a phone. I would look some place else. The camera sucks, the speaker phone is decent, no EVDO, the hinges are loose, and the phone is about at large as the E815 (but with nothing in it). Go and pay 199.99 or 149.99 for this when you could get something with more substance. Thats my opinion. Take it or leave it.
That's cool, thanks for info on the phone π
It's reception and call quality is unmatched..
People who are knocking it are nuts since they don't have one and I do..
Lots of pros and no cons yet !
At this point, I am not finding anything bad..
It is excellent in every category.
