Back in the day "RETENTION" is what we call the customer loyalty department today.
When customers would call up and whine the "RETENTION" department would modify/alter a plan to keep their business.
All normal plans are set by VZW and dealers/direct/indirect cannot modify plans like that. At least to my knowledge as a indirect and as a dealer that is.
I don't recommend this course of option. It makes cust serv get rather unfriendly at later dates.

😉 Let's just say we got a few tricks up our sleeves if we wanna keep ya. Screaming, yelling and carrying on don't get those plans ;) Sometimes the plans sent through the post to target customers that are specifically identified through usage, length of contract, etc... Our loyalty department closed a long time ago. Our outsource centre, the ACME (Livebrige) call centre is not allowed to disconnect customers, they must transfer them to regular Verizon Wireless care. Sitel, whom I actually quite like, I'm not sure if they're able to or not... The plans that are spoken of again aren't available to everyone, you have to meet certain criteria.
