How often is the PRL changed and how often should a customer update? Ratio to proportion, How many SIDs are added in relationship to deleted?

PRL updates should only preformed once every 3 months....

a PRL update only adds towers to the list that were not there before...

if you have good coverage in your area then you should only worry about doing an update if you plan to do any traveling, and only before in your home area...

PRL updates can be performed any time ya dayum well please. Weather or not it's either A. Effective or Necessary, or B. The right thing to do is another matter. Updating your PRL every single day in your home area isn't gonna do much but make you look like an obsessive compulsive. Doing it outside of the Verizon Wireless market areas (any place your phone says roaming or extended network) can cause ...

Here is what we have.... In our area Verizon allows us to roam on to the competitors sites! CDMA on the Sprint sites and Analog on the RCC sites... Verizon has the lowest site count in our area and relies on the roaming agreements... The PRL issue directly effects inter-market roaming too, correct? My question is: Can I excpect to lose coverage someday when these competitors fall out of bed? And, If I do not update my PRL will my price plan still provide me with home rates when I hit those sites even though the roaming agreement is not not in place?

Yes, it does directly effect inter-market roaming.

Yes, you can expect to lose SOME coverage someday when these competitors fall out of bed, but even as it is now, we can't guarantee competitors services will work. I dunno where you are, (I haven't heard of RCC), but Verizon Wireless does invest $4B/year to maintain and upgrade the networks, so if it's a kinda populated a...
