Phone question??
Is is possible to buy a phone off of ebay for say Sprint or Qwest and use it on the VZW network. Just wondering cause I'm sick of my phone and my can't get a new one for another like year and my friend just got a new phone from Sprint and I love love love her old phone and she offered to give it to me. sorry, can't use another provider's phone with VZW. Rather, let me rephrase that, we won't allow it to work, even if it did work, b/c there would still be some inconsistencies with service because you're using a non verizon phone and then, b/c of those inconsistencies, you'll call up and bitch at us (or maybe not, but you'll be annoyed with your phone and we don't want that). 🙂 so we just say no, but truthfully, for the most part, 99% of other provider's phones won't work with our system anyway, and only the other 1% fall into the category i described above.
I always tell customers who are looking for a used phone 2 things. 1). make SURE it says "Verizon" on it. if it doesn't say "Verizon" then it falls into one of the tw...
