Upcoming phones
Does anyone have a list or knowledge of any upcoming phones for verizon? I currently have the lg 6000 but need to upgrade and am not satisfied w/ any of the current phones. I am thinking of getting the lg5200 when it is realeased and paying retail for it (i dont think it is going to be too expensive) to hold me over to a phone i really want. If not i am thinking, and i hope i dont have to do it, jumping ship to suckular.

The sammy 940 is coming very shortly, but better then that, the next two hot ones will be the Moto Razr and the Moto Q both coming to verizon. Ya buddy 😁

Wow, if those are the only options i may have to rethink getting the lg5200 to hold me over for a phone of my likeing. I am very dissapointed in the selection and variety of current and upcoming phones. Seriously, throw in a slider or an original phone or maybe a very small phone. It is very dissapointing.
I know it will be better to post this question in cingular but do you know if you can port your number to cingular as a test for like verizons 15 day phone waiting period? I just need to test there service b/f i sign a contract.

Maybe it's just me but i dont see the appeal that everyone else has w/ the razr. I didnt want to put my preferences on here for my "ultimate" phone b/c i know everyone is different. But, if i were able to design my phone it would be thin like the razr but less wide, clamshell, external and internal color display, bluetooth, speakerphone, vibrate (strong enough you can feel it), and mp3, and camera. I would have bought the 8100 but man it is blue. I dont know why they would introduce a blue phone, i can gaurentee more people do not buy this phone b/c it is blue than people do buy the phone b/c it is blue.

Buddha I was in the same boat a few weeks ago; had Verizon for the past 2 years and was curious about Cingular so I ported and got the Razr. I was very disappointed with it- 2 of my number keys stopped responding on my 1st one, and I just grew to hate the Razr even when I got the replacement. I exchanged it for the little black Samsung P207, and the voice quality on that phone was very "tinny" sounding, didn't like it. I ultimately ended Cingular w/in the 30 day trial and ported back over to Verizon last week, so you can definitely try out Cingular and port back if you don't like it.
