Slider phones...Qwery Keyboard?
I just had the chance to play around with Cingular's LG9100 phone which is a bar phone with a keyboard that slide out. I just about fell in love at first site. Does anyone know if Verizon is going to come out with anything like that in the near future?

this is SO exciting! when i saw the 9100 i wanted to switch to cingular because of it (wouldnt have happened though) but if verizon is coming out with one then...man im pumped!! i txt a lot and the 9100 appealed to me so much but then i found out it doesnt have a camera or bluetooth...but crap man if this is gonna have that, then...WOO!! 😁

No joke! I txt so much...usually 100 a day. just got the v710, but I think I might get this one out of contract, and then sell my v710 on e-bay. Although I really like the idea of a CDMA razr...but I think from now on I'm going to avoid all Moto at any cost!

I dunno, but personally I can text easier and faster with T9 than I ever could with those ultra-tiny QWERTY keyboards.

i cant do T9. i tried but theres words that i use that arent in there and like i use names and abreviations and stuff...it just doesnt work for me. maybe i have to practice more.. 🙄

Actually if you teach it words it works very fast. In fact I saw that the world's fastest txt messager used T9 and beat a guy that used multitap by about 24 seconds.
