Where did the V710 go????
Can anyone inform me why the Moto V710 just got yanked off the market Friday at 5pm?
Any idea if they are going to re-release it?

The LG VX8000 is gone too, replaced by the 8100. These new phones are coming out at lower prices than their processors

So why don't they let them just sell out the overstocks? 5 Verizon reps have already told me that the V710 was "yanked" off the market.
I am sure that I would love the E815, however I need the tri-mode Motorola capabilities. Oh well...

I have the V710 and I am looking for a new phone, I thought about getting the follow up to the V710 which is the V815, it looks the EXACT same as the V710 but its grey and has VCAST. I think I am going to go with the LG 8100...The only downside of doing so is the fact that VCAST isn't avaliable in most areas

I like both of these phones. But when I checked the modes, I see where the v710 has AMPS850 and the E815 does not. What effect does this have on coverage? I cover the U.S., a lot of which is in US Cellular areas and many remote carriers. Any comments on how the E815 lacking this can affect coverage?

I haven't seen any since before the 4th of July. They're no longer on the vzw website, and our inventory level has said temp out of stock for a few weeks now. I have not heard, officially, that we're no longer selling them, but my guess is they will not be back in stock. I've stopped telling customers about them. I just wish management would CONFIRM we're no longer selling them.

I checked stock on the phone on the 19th and the West DC started the day with 100 of them. I even tried calling a few stores for a customer and they're gone.
