Do you NEED a new phone? What is the status of your current phone? I got the Incredible at Best Buy during a Free Friday promotion so I don't regret the purchase, but I would not mind having a Thunderbolt. However my old phone was an XV6900 which was not compatible with VZ Access Manager and Windows Seven. So I had a laptop I could not tether to my phone.

However much longer it will be, it will be worth the wait. As fast as things are going to move in the next 12-18 months you'll want to have the most up to date tech, so you don't feel too, too far behind.

if you're thinking Thunderbolt I wouldn't do the incredible. Its not a bad phone but its end of life this month. Originally said to be end of life mid month but now its late March.

I have the motorola rival. the front touch buttons stopped working about a month ago, so to delete the text messaging inbox i have to reset the phone every time. It sucks! Also when I slide it closed to fast, it turns off. Only holds a charge for maybe 6 hours with limited use. And picks and chooses when it plays ringtones.
Thanks 🙂

"I have the motorola rival..."
Say no more. I understand. We had this phone in the tech closet when I worked there. I took so many calls on it, I spent more time with it at my desk than any other phone. Except maybe that raggedy Samsung Renown.

I have the LG Ally, and it has real, physical buttons for Answer, Home, Menu, and hang up, when you slide out the keyboard there are also real physical buttons for Back, Search, and Home.
Touch capacitive buttons will always, always fail eventually.

On a long enough timeline, everything will eventually fail.

if its still under warranty they will send you an intensity 2 (i think) instead.
