You can get one more annual upgrade. it remains to be seen if you can use it to get an iphone.

Just remember that if you DO use the annual upgrade, and you CAN get an iphone, you have to go 20 months until you get another upgrade, and more likely than not, apple will unveil a LTE iphone in 2012, and you won't be able to get one until almost 2013.

you can use it 12 months after you upgraded last. If it says eligible on 3/09, then that's most likely your annual upgrade date (cannot confirm without seeing account, sorry)

you want current, get one of the new LTE devices (Bionic, Thunderbolt, Revolution, etc)

Or if you REALLY want to stay current, wait until your NE2 date, then waive that last NE2 and just get an 1yr upgrade. You pay more up front, but you're only signing a 1 year contract and you can get a new phone every 10 months instead of every 20.

Sounds like a plan I'll wait for my last NE2, then get a one year contract. If I want a new phone between now and than retail it is then I can get out of the 24 month contract. Thanks

Only if you're a primary line (not a 9.99 plan)

Any Nationwide Talk and Text primary line qualifies. And Any Nationwide talk plan above 900 minutes (individual) or 1400 minutes (family plan).

If you're on the minimum minute plan and don't have unlimited texting, you won't qualify

You can't and the iphone is the one and only reason why...they don't wont people to get a new iphone every year with an annual so see ya later annual. I could be wrong but thats what i have been able to put together from the emails that have been sent from the higher ups.

I guess it's a wait and see thing. I think that would be hella weak if I can use my annual upgrade one more time on any phone but the iphone..that would be stupid.

It's because they have to subsidize the iphone a lot more than they would any other device. On top of the device cost ($600) they have to pay apple an additional amount (for ATT it was $300) because they have the "right" to sell the iphone.

Annual upgrades (upgrading at 12 months in 24 month contract) net less money than a normal upgrade would. This is why annual upgrades and NE2 credits might not be applicable there.

They might allow it (just to clean out those remaining upgrades) but like I said, it's kinda up in the air right now.

I highly doubt they'll allow NE2 credits since APPLE sets pricing of the phones, not Verizon (this is why you can't get one for free at Best Buy)

I agree with you but the problem is we dont make any money from it really. As far as my friends from at&t tell me the only real money we make is in accessories so that would explain why.
