Tethering??
My fiance and I have been discussing tethering and if its allowed, we both have droids... I told him I thought it was against the rules and they can either charge you for doing it or cancel you and make you pay the etf, he says they've opened it up and we can do it now.... who is right?

If you pay for tethering (mobile hotspot) it's allowed. If you're using an app from the market to tether it is against the TOS and if they catch you they can cut off your service.
Tethering on android is a really grey area though because of how easy it is to do. Basically if you DO tether, you're risking getting caught. but if you only use it infrequently (for sending files on vacation or something) your risk is pretty low.
If you use it to stream/download you're playing with fire.
