Kin's Return as a Feature Phone

Strange move, considering the fact that all of Kin's original selling points are gone. I realize that customers - for some reason - want advanced phones that do nothing more than call and send text messages, but wow...it would've been nice to see those features make a return, as well.
By the way, I noticed this when I was speaking to a customer, and every thought that I had in my head as I was speaking just suddenly dropped out whenever I saw the Kin phones labe...

Actually, what I've wanted to do was to cook the ROM with an "unKinned" Windows Mobile to make it slightly more functional. I haven't seen anyone who's done it yet. Then again, I haven't bothered to look all that much, either.
And in case anyone is wondering WHY I have a Kin One (in addition to my Droid and Incredible, an all the other junk I have sitting around), it's because no one else in the store was willing to be the guinea pig on that device. I used it for a week and never touched it again. Not long after, the phone was sent to the grave.
