Droid X update
Still pushing to the moto droid. Will push to the Incredible next then the droid X. Hopefully by the first week in september it should roll out.

droid 2 ships with 2.2 so they are not rolling it out to the 2. And I would not count on beginning of sept if the droid is taking almost 3 weeks to get it complete.

The droid 2 received a patch. They are trying to get it out to the Incredible now. There were some issues with the droid update. Some phones didn't start up after update. But that has been fixed.

I'd much rather wait an extra week so they get it RIGHT, rather than a rush job that has bugs.

it was a patch of a 2meg file. Not a 74 meg update. And if you followed droidforums you would know why they sent a second patch.

No, i don't follow droidforums, there is no need to. I don't believe everything that is posted in those forums. I know why the patch was sent.
