Anybody else getting excited about the Moto X

This looks like it's going to be one sweet phone.
Not sure about the whole Motoblur thing but early indications are it's running something else. Personally I like the size; about time Big Red got something like this. By the time the Incredible gets off b/o this thing will be out; should be an interesting summer, for sure. Sorry Scott about your IPHONE; perhaps early next year eh?

If the new MotoBlur has better power conservation then the old stuff (or if I can find a safe way to get Stock Android running on it flawlessly) this might get me away from my Storm 9530 finally. Having the same 4.3 inch screen as the Evo but pulled out to a true 16x9 aspect ratio looks like it might have made this thing slim enough to pocket well.

I'm not fond of the AMOLED on the Incredible, so if this thing is running a TFT display I'll be even more pleased with it.

No. The last Motorola I was excited about was the Motorola Q (Silver). These days I cringe when I hear about a Motorola being released.

Does your statement also include referring to the Droid as crap?

Also, last night I was listening to the AC podcast and the guys were talking about Motorola, and referred to the original Q as crap.

No.

I thought that it might be (considering Motorola's less than stellar history prior to the release of the Droid), however I have eaten my words (so far). The Droid has had few issues and been quite popular. I still wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole, but that's just me.

I don't share the same harsh opinion of the company who *INVENTED* the cellphone.

The Razor, which everybody was so critical of, was a revolutionary phone, at the time.

I'm no where close to as harsh of Motorola as apearently most are.

Appearently you aren't willing to give the Droid a fair chance, even though it has a metal casing, and gorilla glass screen.

Let's see. I personally owned the following Motorolas: T2260, Startac 7868W, Timeport 270c (Best phone I ever owned still), V120t, V60t, T720, T730, V710 (I was SO excited about this phone's release that I plopped down $261.00 for it. It was a good phone too. Just Verizon's meddling stunted its potential), Motorola Q Silver (Paid the same $261.00 for it. It was NOT a good phone at all. After ten FRUs they finally switched me to the Black which never had a problem and I still own). This does not even mention the horrible Motorola phones that I sold during my wireless career. The V260/V265/V276 or the the C333/C343 phones come to mind as the worst of a bad lot. I spent as much time warrantying out Motorola garbage as the reps in my st...
