The number to forward your calls to your YouMail account is: *717142043114 not *73.

Right but the YouMail thing said to dial *73 to temp disable the YouMail message forwarding, but i am trying to figure out how to forward my saved voice messages to the YouMail account. Am i doing something else wrong?

You mean that you want to forward voicemail messages that you have saved on Verizon's voicemail system to YouMail? I do not believe this can be done.

Right, i heard there was a way to do it, but i dunno it didn't give me the option for it. But the alternate way to do it is to get the Visual Voicemail though. Does that sound OK to do? I know its 3 a month but.

You can't. You can dial *73 to disable youmail and then call your voicemail and enter your vzw voicemail password and listen to your old messages. That's all though. Then when your done you have to dial the *71 thing to reactivate youmail.
