Store it on the phones SD card, not under any sub folder.
With the phone off press and hold the volume down and power button, follow the prompts on the screen.
Your phone will rebote several times.
After it is done, voila! You have 2.1
****Note**** This will reset your phone to factory specs and you will looose all data, make sure to backup BEFORE doing this.
