BESX Upgraded Requried
Looks like VZW is trying to make more money off a product that is free to BlackBerry users with any data plan. They are requiring any person interested in the BESX to upgrade from the 29.99 data plan to the 49.99 data plan. WTF! http://crackberry.com/verizon-customers-force d-update-data-plans-besx-usage

It's always been that way. BESX is still basically corporate because it works with an Exchange server. BESX is the same as BPS which has always required the $44.95. Actually the $44.95 option is all there used to be for Blackberry's until around when the Storm came out. That's when they added the $29.99 but it's always been only for personal email with BIS. BESX gives you full Exchange compatibility.. email, contacts, calendar.

This is that RIM created BESX to work with a BIS plan. They have even gone on the record as saying that. You do not need a BES plan for BESX to work. Its def a cash grab here.
