Something is coming.
My mole tells me there's something coming in conjunction with the new data requirements on January 18. Something important enough that the company is waiting until this weekend to train its employees on it. Even my friend in the business couldn't tell me what it is.
I can only speculate as to what it could be, but security is tight surrounding it.

VZW is getting rid of the Multi-Exchange policy on the 18th, and phones like the Env Touch and Rogue will no longer be considered "advanced devices." Thus, they will not be subject to the $350 ETF.

I just got confirmation that my store has an unscheduled meeting on Saturday. We were told a new phone is coming on Monday.
I doubt they'd schedule a last minute training on something I already know about and/or received training on.

I just found something about a new promo named "Stella" that is starting on the 18th. No more than that at this point. It says more will be released tomorrow.

Good for you! Don't give away your company's competitive advantage. When I worked for them I was always amazed at how employees dropped information in the forums.

My pet peeve when I worked in tech was employees trying to walk customers through scamming to get a different model phone.

Talking about a new phone is one thing, but talking about the way a company works (pricing, whatever) is not a good idea because that stuff is secret to keep other companies out of the loop, not just to hide it from customers.

Yeah, my old account manager is flipping out (in a good way... i think?) about it. Won't say anything, just that big changes are coming. I'm working with a small retailer atm, helping them develop an inventory system and the like, so I still am in the loop for some things.. just not stuff like this apparently.
