So are the in store VZ reps wrong about a new Android "coming soon"?

I am hearing of the "Google phone" now is for ATT or TM, who knows. My experience at a VZ store when I went in Saturday to get an Eris was that I should wait as VZ is def. going to have a Snapdrogon, Android phone very soon so what gives are they or not? Any of you VZ reps on here know anything further?

The Internet rumors tell us there's something coming, some say Snapdragon (or just Dragon). The company hasn't said anything either way. This means that 50,000 employees can only guess as to what's coming.

"Google phone" could refer to one of two things. It might mean the Google operating system, which is called Android, which is available on different devices across most providers. Alternately, it could mean the phone which was announced over the weekend by Google, which Google is planning to sell themselves as an unlocked phone for whichever network technology it will happen to be on.

Frankly, any Verizon company rep who tell you to wait for the next thing is a dolt. If you keep waiting for the next thing to come out, you'll nev...

Any rep who tells a customer to wait should be strongly disciplined. Any wonder why they don't tell reps anything? I would have them take a VZLearn on the day before a new device launched.
