As much as people make fun of Verizon for their advertising campaign, they sure accomplished one thing. They got you all talking.

I think the Droid will actually do quite well on Verizon. Android is gonna take off. WinMo sucks, people are tired of the Crackberry and nobody cares about the Pre since WebOS is still new and has very limited app support. But Palm is late to the game. The ball is in Google's court right now.

Exactly and they managed to get their platform on the #1 wireless carrier in the US. Only time will tell, but I think it will be a win. 4th quarter will be serious.

Why would anyone be tired of the Crackberry!?

To use Apple's stupid ass slogan... the Blackberry... it just works!

I had a blackberry and loved it, but their OS does suck and all blackberries have major issues with short battery life and dropped calls.

I'll take your word, but this is my message to RIM:

Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me!

yeah, but does this campaign mean that VZW is not getting the iPhone since it's a direct attack on apple?

Apple directly attacks windows in their campaigns, and yet they are more than happy to let microsoft make Office for the mac, or apple develop's boot camp to let people use windows on their mac.

Pointing out the flaws of a device is good marketing, but at the same time, if apple listens to those critiques and implement's some of those changes, are people really going to complain?
