Verizon vs. AT&T
Java:
I understand that you can download java applications, such as Google Maps for free on AT&T phones (not just the iPhone and Blackberries, but all handsets that support Java). Verizon will be switching to Java for our new 4G network. Also, 4G LTE will be what GSM is now. Verizon will launch there 4G network this year. Next, GSM coverage in the US is horrible. It makes the GSM network look horrible, and not only that but we do not get any good phones. We never get any high end nokia phone like they do over seas. You are better to stick with Verizon and get a phone that supports GSM.
GSM coverage is not that bad, just in certain areas. I have had good experiences with GSM when I was with T-Mobile. With AT&T it was decent until this year because of the area I live in has degraded towers. I am moving next year so we will see what happens. Ok, have a nice day.
