It's brand new technology.. I think he was reffering to that.

Think about it.. LTE offers speeds faster than most landline internet providers (at least the ones available to the typical consumer) when just a few decades ago the idea of talking wirelessly to someone around the world was the stuff of Science Fiction.

top secret=zero rumors. and the only solid rumor I have heard is november, which is still on track. So I wouldn't say the release date is top secret. Do they try to keep these things under wraps? Yes, of course...but they always leak out a little early.
