I want to get this phone, but I wonder from reading some reviews, that you have to unlock
this phone each time you have to make a call,
is it true? Please let me know.

You do have to hit the unlock button when the phone is closed to be able to view anything. Kind of annoying!!

If the phone is closed and let's say in your pocket, if not for the auto lock feature it would be scrolling through the menus. It is a simple matter of pressing the button on the right side and then navigating. If you are not navigating then it will lock after a few seconds. This seems so reasonable to me that I cannot believe that some people have complaints.
