Confused - statement....

WHATEVERWORKS

I'm kind of confused as to how some people, with large fingers, do not complain about the 8330 curve, but have so many complaints about the tour. I understand there is less space on the tour..but big fingers, are big finger... I just say suck it up, use a nice phone, and your fingers will learn not to hit 100 buttons at once...

Or...don't get it...and don't complain, ive never seen one phone that EVERYONE liked...

Great statement.....but people will complain about anything. Verizon can offer the perfect phone, but someone will complain about the price, or why does it have a rebate, why do I have to have the data feature? Some people are never happy. Wait until there are no more discounted phones and customers will have to pay full retail for every phone they purchase. I can hear the complaints now.....

why do you think people would pay full retail on phones when most dont pay full retail on anything else.i know i havent payed full retail on anything in years.and for wireless full retail would work out to what the 2year price is plus 50.00. so when the carriers try full retail it would still be what...

I have paid full retail on phones many times. Not usually the smartest thing to do, but I've done it before and I'm sure I'll do it again.

Full retail on most phones are more than the 2yr price plus 50.00. There are some states that are trying to push for no contracts. It will be harder to sell full retail phones on a account with multiple lines. Yes, there are some who still pay full retail because they like to change phones and not have a contract.

Just curious as to where you got that information from... Full retail for a phone is actually anywhere from about $250 to $500 (and sometimes more) for the majority of phones on the market right now. Almost all higher end messaging and smart phones are in the 400 to 500 range. I agree with justmarried... getting rid of contracts and going to strictly full retail for a phone is going to create a whole lot of upset customers.

The problem as I see it is nobody REALLY wants to keep their phone for two years anyway. A simple, no-nonsense phone can be had "full retail" for about $200. The techie toys are of course a lot of money outright, but maybe if people had to PAY full price for their "latest and greatest", they'd be more inclined to hang onto it for awhile and not change it out on a whim so they can be the coolest kid with the newest toy to show off. It really has gotten ridiculous. People claim to study these reviews and do extensive research for a phone they tire of very quickly in the long run. But again, just my 2 cents.
