BB Tour

So what’s up, I’ve read here and there several people are reporting loose battery doors?
Tuff to fix that with a software update. Let me guess you do the same thing as for the Storm’s screen fix, this just fixes the opposite side of the phone? 😳
How’s the speaker on the Tour, any louder than the Storm? 😕
I just had a Storm running .151 and even on loud it was kind of soft for ringtones and alerts.

Its a little loose, but its not flying off or anything.

The phone is great, no issues for me and I was prolly hte first people in the midwest to get one activated on sunday.

If you like blackberries and you like verizon, buying this phone is a no brainer.

I agree I was number 2 at the same store getting my phone and I love my phone. I say the doo has to move some since you need to get into it at some point maybe. I carry it in a rubber case from VZW and screen protector and it is sweet cover is not going anywhere on mine if it would like to move a little so what.

Go try the phone I think you would like it.

Some complaints Ihave read are just plain stupid. My screen ripples when I push on it.

Ok so why in gods earth would you be pushing on the screen in the first place??

I agree with Chris and slines. I got mine on Sunday as well and yes the door is a little loose, but this is very nice upgrade from the Curve. The screen is freaking awesome, the clarity is very nice.

The only downside I see as a Blackberry user, is the change to the profiles. It is easy to setup a quick profile to do what you want.

Overall I am very pleased!

i got the Tour Sunday as well. This is my first BB so im still getting used to general stuff as it is but so far im pleased with it. No real complaints. Until i get familiar with the OS and all i wouldn't want to just start complaining about every lil thing.

I don't know, I played with it today at the store and the ear piece and speaker are loud and sound great for phone calls. But the ringers just like the Storm aren't loud enough for me, even with them jacked all the way up.
I went right over to the Curve and it's louder. RIM must have done something with their updated OS.

I have the storm and my ringtones are very loud. Are using the factory tones or have you made your own ringtones?

Your right, the factory tones can be too quite. And yes some of my made up ringtones were louder but then the quality suffered a little.

I think it might depend on the ring or tone you choose from the factory settings. There are some that are very low. I am hard of hearing and I had to go with some Musical ring it had to hear it better.

I do agree though some tons are not the same
