I am planning on adding a line to my account, and I am undecided on the phone. This is currently the only thing holding me back. I really want to get the Samsung Alias 2, but then I also am interested in the ENV 3. Camera quality (based on specs) is one of the biggest differences that I've been able to note between the two phones. I am a HUGE Samsung die hard, and I've only used samsung phones for the last couple of years. My questions are, what kind of quality will I get with an LG phone? Is it possible once I add the line to do an ESN swap and use the new phone on my existing line and give the new line my current phone? The pricing on the two phones online is roughly a $70 discount...am I getting the best price versus going to a ret...

Env3 also has an HTML (sorta) browser, Threaded messaging, and I think it has slightly better battery life. The keyboard is also a bit less cramped, but if you have smaller fingers this won't be noticeable.

Thanks for the input! I appreciate it. The biggest reason I'm unsure of switching mfg is because I'm not familiar with LG. But I'm seriously considering it at this point. THANK YOU!

I would never talk anyone out of an LG. They are usually GREAT phones. Can't beat the battery life and good reception. Would most likely be better reception than the Samsung from my experience. Depending where you are located may not be enough to notice. Also, the Alias 2 seems to be an awesome device. No issues with either so far.

I tried to talk people out of the first Chocolate. My coworkers thought I was nuts. Most of them don't work for the company any more.

Blue tooth is off when not in use. What other antenna's are you speaking of?

The enV series have the highest rated battery lives of all the phones carried by Verizon without being an extended capacity battery. There's something else going on with your phone, I suspect.
