any verizen tech reps?

Can you guys not just call metcalf and correct a customers routing?
I work att tech and had a cus can't sms a veriozen who shows
Metcalf routing as sprint called veriozen to correct
And rep wanted to do a week case on it so had call metcalf myself
To fix the veriozen cus phone, any insight from a verizen rep y they
Couldn't do that? 🤨

Tech Rep here… No, we would need to file an NRB ticket to have the issue addressed. I know it is not a “customer friendly” policy, but I do understand the reasoning. If I were Metcalf I would not want reps calling in for every SMS related issue.

thats dumb they told us all carriers had access to metcalf i guess your case depts handle it though. we can pull it up and see why a sms didn't go through inter carrier and who's fault it is makes things so much easier, as far as the metcalf reps there job got be so easy its a 2 minute call u give them the number and carrier and its fixed before we even have time to say hi, they are pretty nice people, but thanks tho i thought i just had a dumb@$$ rep on the line who aint feel like working, and or who didnt feel like wasting a trans to get me to the right dept who could fix it
