Would anyone have any ideas where I may have some luck trying to find a moto v9? I have checked ebay there is none of them available that could be used with verizon. Is there any other sites that would sell an older model phone...thanks

$250 on Amazon, but doesn't say who it'll work with. 😕

Check Craigslist or here.

I thought the V9m was one of the nicest looking phones Motorola had ever designed, and I wanted that phone as the upgrade to my V3m. I heard that the software was never quite right on either Alltel, with whom I still have service for a little while longer, and Verizon, with whom I will switch over to shortly. Are you sure you want a Razr 2?

I've seen a high number of them break at the hinge, too. When a typical person opens a flip, they open it slightly askew due to the angle they hold their dominant hand, and over time that creates stress on the minimal plastic between the hinge and the joint of the casing, causing a break. It's not a warranty issue, simply because Motorola isn't responsible for how someone opens a flip phone.

Best of luck to the OP. I had the phone for a while, it was a good model for me.
