returned it after about an hour. I ordered it on Friday night, it arrived on Tuesday. I activated it and played with it for about two hours. Didn't even pull the plastic off the touch screen. Paid $79 for it and also ordered a 2gig card with it.
Today, I noticed that the Voyager went on sale, buy one get one, for the same price. Could have puked. So, I packed the Krave up and returned it, and promptly ordered two voyagers for my wife and I. I am wondering what will charges will i have to pay for returning the Krave, and, I had to use my moms NE2 to get my Voyager at the discounted price before my Krave made it back to Verizon. What should i expect, considering the 30 day guarantee? thanks for your input!!!

$35 restocking for all devices returned within the 30 day worry free guarantee. This is in place to off set some of the cost for VZW with association to the returned device. Depending on who you speak with, it could possibly get waived but that's no promise. More than likely the charge will stand. Hope you enjoy the voyager. Good day

If the phone was returned within 3 days of activation, you should not be charged the restock fee. If you are a VIP customer, then the fee will be waived.

What makes a VIP customer? Is it after you have been with VZW so long or?
thanks

It is based on the rate plan you have, your payment history, and the amount of time you've had verizon.

hmmm well we have the $90 family share with 1 additional line...20% work discount...700 minute plan with unlimited texts...been with verizon going on 6 years and have auto pay so never missed a payment...any ideas?
thanks

You'll know if you're VIP. They send you papers in the mail that say you're VIP.

They enroll people in the program every March. It's more than just paying your bill on time. If you switched over to the unlimited plan in 2008, you were likely previously on a plan that didn't qualify under the guidelines.
Then again, I've seen people who've never made a payment on time in their history and they have VIP.

Why didn't you wait until the phones were returned before ordering the new ones?
And why did you return the krave? If you wanted the Voyager from the start, why not order it? Getting a price adjustment on a phone is a heck of a lot easier than playing contract Merry-go-round.

With my luck, the voyager sale will be for this week only. So, FedEx will pick up my Krave today, Wednesday, and send it back where it will have to be processed and who knows what else, crediting my account maybe if i am lucky by saturday. I would have tried to order the Voyager and it may have not been on sale then. So, why not just use another lines NE2 and just order it now, my wife wanted hers now, its on sale, why not get it while it is??
I wanted the Krave for the size of it. It fits on my gun belt much better than the Voyager will, but the LG menus etc far make up for the size. With the Krave, if you dial a number that is in your contacts list, without dialing the area code too, it would not show in your recent call as having ...
