Ok, I really need help. Im switching my business of 175 almost over to Verizon from AT&T. We are located in Texas. I am sooo sick of AT&T's network here. It was out for a while 1 or 2 weeks ago.

I needed a strong 3G network. And Verizon seems to be the best out there, right?
We work with a group in Dallas who uses Sprint. They also are switching there network over to Verizon. They have 150 in there business.

We have been looking at PTT phones. Which PTT phone do yall prefer?

We plan on switching sometime this week. We travle all over the US, and AT&T doesn't work out West, Roaming, and Sprint Roams out west as well.

I do not want to switch to Sprint's Nextel network. They do not cover many areas we travle to.

Any information ...

The Adventure or Boulder are both good. I think its really personal preference.

The boulder used to suck because of the speaker but the new one has two speakers and that fixed the issue. the boulder is water resistant, adventure isnt.

I would say a mix of those two should cover your PTT needs.

VZW has the best network, Id say give it a shot,it should be atleast better then what you had.

It doesn't have a fancy name, just an alpha-numeric name. It's a basic flip phone (non-ruggedized, or at least not like the boulder) that is push to talk capable.

Amazing God how att sucks- I don't know how anyone puts up with that carrier, I'm reading all kinds of reports about their inferior network constantly going down! I've had verizon service since Airtouch and never had experienced a black out!

As far as PTT get the Boulder! I've used both the Adventure and the Boulder and hands down the Boulder wins! You'll be very happy with the call quality with verizon not to mention a network that seldom to ever fails!

Thank you for the information. AT&T has become a horrible network. I lost a lot of money when there network went down. For almost 3 days it was down!

Now, BlackBerrys. Im wanting to get a BlackBerry. I had one with AT&T and the internet is slow. I need something with fast internet. Do all Verizon BlackBerrys have 3G? Doesn't Verizon call it EVDO? I think that's it.

This is obviously just me. But I had the BB Bold and it really is worth it's weight in silicone, it's an awesome Blackberry & phone.
I played around with the BB Storm and the earpiece audio seemed to be really good (it must work as a phone for me)and with all the software updates it seems to be running smoothly. But the finger print magnet a.k.a. touch screen is an acquired taste.
Haven't played with the new BB Curve (it's on TMO, no 3G. What's the point.)But the reviews are good.
Enter the BB 9630 who's size is in between the Curve and Bold, VZW's 3G (hopefully Rev. A), actual QWERTY keyboard, coupled with BB's recently better build quality, better speakers. Can't wait! 😁

How did it turn out? Have you made the switch? I have been with Verizon Since Sept 2001 and there is no looking back .

Yes, we went with the Black and Orange Bolders. They had to order some of them which was fine. I didn't expect them to have as many as they did anyway. But, I do see a huge diffrence in service. Thank you so much for your help everyone! Oh, and yes, I did get the discount. The rep told me about it. The workers love them as well.

Thank you Verizon!!

PLEASE make sure you're getting a corporate discount. I assume you're working through a rep, so this shouldn't even be a problem.

I see so many companies open accounts without any discounts, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to mention it.

Also, employees who have Verizon will be able to get a similar discount just for working for the company. They should be setting that up, too.
