So, I was reading about Blackberrys (still trying to decide if i want to get one or not) and they don't have WIFI? I am confused. Can someone tell me more about WIFI and its availability?

Also, there is a new Blackberry coming out for Verizon with a full qwerty keyboard? I wonder if that will drive the price of the Storm down. Also, wonder if the newer one will be better for me since I text alot and am concerned that the Storm will be hard to text on a touch screen. Any help, I'd appreciate it!

Wifi are routers companies and individuals set up to share their land line broadband (DSL, Cable, Fios) with multiple computers without the need for wires.

Availability will be highest in areas with a lot of smaller businesses and familes with more than one computers but most of these networks will be private, meaning you can't access them.

Places like Dunkin Donuts, burger king, and some truck stops could offer free wifi to access. Basically, if you use wifi in your house/at your business and your signal strength for verizon is low there, then wifi is a benefit. WOW! Thanks alot for all of that information. DEFINATELY and totally cleared up with WIFI thing. I just couldn't understand what they meant by no wifi when in fact, the blackberry does get internet access. SO, thanks again for clearing things up.

Any ideas where I can find information on those two phones coming out? Just curious if they might be something worth waiting for rather than the STORM because I am so concerned about texting/e-mailing on a touch keyboard.

The curve 2 is currently a Tmobile phone, the Bold is an ATT device. The phones should be pretty similar with the Verizon verizon.

They are both phones that look similar to the current curve offered by Verizon. By looks, I mean the overall design (big screen on the top, keypad under, camera in the back) the Bold has a high quality screen, so if seeing stuff in sharp color is important for you, this or the storm are your best bets.
