I was just wondering when VZW is going to start pshing this product. I seen a sign at the booths but that was it. No Televison adds or Newspaper adds. What is the deal. Anyone know about this.

I wander why a ordinary person needs ptt. I can see a company that supplies phones to workers, such as construction companies, ect...but, why would normal person need ptt. You have unlimited M2M, and unlimited N&W minutes, what would ptt benefit the ordinary user?

Is there something I don't know about, or not understand. Why not just call the cell number direct, either way it is free. I was looking at their plans and seen they came out with family plans finally, but, they cost more. I know it would be neat to just call for them, but, you get the same thing done calling their phone and have it ring and they can answer.

I was just wandering if a lot of people get ptt and if there was a reason for it that i don't know about or what t...

The same old question every month for the past three years since other carriers mentioned dropping the service, some people just enjoy the feature, others find it annoying. What is annoying is those who find it annoying keep leaving there three paragraph posts stating their opinion.

I was not stating an opinion, I was asking what the benefit of PTT is for the private sector. You have unlimited M2M minutes, and they work almost everywhere on the AC plan. That is all I wanted to know, if there is a reason that I am not aware of why I should go with PTT. PTT kind of seems like a waste of money to me. Can you hear me now, I am not stating my opinion, I am asking "WHY" a normal user would want PTT, I don't see one, if you have one besides they enjoy the feature, then let me know, but make sure it is a reason that is worth the extra cost involved in the service., and to clarify again, I am not referring to the business sector, I can see why they would need and want it, I just cant see why the private sector would need it,...

I think it can just be handy. I know I want to get it... I just like having the latest and greatest. It can be nice when you just have a simple question for someone but don't really want to start a phone call or have time for a conversation. It's a convenience thing I guess.

Well I know as of right now they are not "targeting nextel customers". They were saying that this is mearly another option for communicating if the person would like it. I know I agree with you truck I'm not sure why a normal everyday person would need this feature. Plain and simple I think alot of people are under the impression it would benefit them for some reason... None of the phones have a camera yet so I'm not even remotly interested in them yet. As I understand it though VZ doesnt really want to push PTT yet. I think they still have alot of bugs to still work out. There was suppose to be a presence icon that would let you know what the status of the other caller is and they disabled that feature to reduce lag. Things like that make m...
