Palm Pre 4 Verizon
You guys know this thread had to be made lol. With the open source (I hope that's the right word) VZW promised, do you think it'll be possible for us VZW customers to get the Palm Pre even though it's exclusive to Sprint? I hope so since it looks like a great phone and won the CES award for cell of the year or something like that. I have an LG voyager, still happy with it, but really want to finally get my first smart phone, and the Storm is getting such bad reviews I would love to wait for the Palm Pre or even for the iphone to switch to CDMA someday.

The Pre would have to pass Verizon testing long before you would be able to activate it on the network. And that's the biggest issue Verizon has with Palm - they don't pass testing very often. It takes six months of alterations and redesigns to get one device to pass testing.
