Early Upgrade: Doesn't Data Plan Count?
I've just passed a year on my 2 year contract and would like to trade my pearl to try the storm. I'll agree to another 2 years but would like the $199 price.
On My Verizon on-line, they need a min $50 calling plan to get the early upgrade and so it shows me not qualified as I have only the $40 plan (450 minutes). But, I've also had the $30 BIS data plan.
I’d like consideration for paying Verizon over $3,000 a year for combined land, cell, TV, and internet and I’ve been a FIOS customer since it first rolled out. Unfortunatly you are not able to upgrade, and the amount that you pay to verzion landline has no effect on your wireless. The data plan also has not bearing on your monthly access amount. If you are not eligible to upgrade at the 2yr price, you can ask for the 1 yr lost/stolen upgrade price of 319.99. Just say you lost the phone, I hope you don't have insurance because they may not give it to you. Good luck.

No. Features don't count towards the Annual Upgrade. All you have to do is switch to the next tier plan for three months and then you will be eligible. As for paying your bill on time. Seriously...you want credit for doing what you should be doing?

it doesnt count unless you had the bundled plan (the 79.99 nationwide email 450 min plan)
sorry.
change to that now and then in 3 months you can do the annual upgrade!

Data plans count as features, so if you switched phones, you could drop that data plan, which is why the don't count for annual upgrade eligibility.
As others have said, Fios, verizon landline, etc. do not count towards anything with your wireless service since they are different companies.
