New sign needed at VZW retail stores.

There should be a sign above the door of each retail store that says;

"We now serve 83.7 million customers, you WILL experience a wait for assistance from an employee" 😈 😈 😈

Any other suggestions?

I dont think anyone will be waiting any longer than they did before....Alltel customers might enjoy the new experience, I secret shopped several Alltel locations before the merger and not only did I have to wait to speak to someone, but the people I spoke to had really no true clue on what they were talking about.

Ok. You need to 1. Stop lying. 2. Get a life. 3. Get a Gf (or Bf)
maybe all three?

Maybe where IamTheGodfather is from, Alltel is slow & Verizon is fast at serving customers. Where I live at, the Verizon Wireless store in Merrillville Indiana is very slow at helping customers, due to it being the only store that handles both sales & repairs, and busy with customers. The other 3 locations are sales only, and have less traffic at them. The VZW store in Valparaiso Indiana was also one that I had trouble getting help at, and the store wasn't busy at all 👿 . Unless I have to go to the Merrillville store (the actual sales/repair store), then I avoid that one at all costs, due to...

Wow beachslapped, that was extremely harsh. All godfather said was that when he secret shopped a specific store, he had to wait. I think we all realize that certain stores are busier than others, no matter what the company. Indirects are most likely going to be slower, corporate stores busier. No need to break out the personal attacks so soon. 🙂

Sorry, but Im tired of the guy's ramblings in the att room. Only someone with nothing else to do has time to aggravate other people ONLINE! I usually read these rooms quietly, but sometimes I have to log in and say something. The guy needs to get a life.

Too bad the two Circuit City stores you frequent will be closed soon. The good news is, the employees from the two Circuits will probably be moved to the other stores - extra help, plus the people you're used to working with.

If VZW and the new Alltel customers learn how to use self-serve options (i.e. IVR, *228/3, Self Check-in at the new VZW Evolution Stores, and My Verizon @ verizonwireless.com NOT verizon.com) the wait would not be nearly as long at the store or for cust. svc / tech support.

I agree. Every day we have people who wait a half hour to pay a bill, insisting that they can't use the bill payment machine, the over-the-phone payment system, customer service, OR the web, all for various reasons. I know things don't always work all the time, but not using something because you don't want to learn how isn't a problem with the system.

The best are people who don't know they can do ESN changes online or with the *228 system. It would save most people a lot of time and gas money. All I end up doing now when people come in for an ESN change is use the *228 option. I figure, this way people get exposed to it more.
