You are a moron. VZ rates will only increase if other carriers change there rates. Or VZ will raise there rates and others will follow...it's all the same. My phone works fantastically though even in the middle of deep Appalachian mountains. (did someone hear banjos)? 😲

Yes, I really am and no they don't. Who are you kidding? All the top cell companies are within $$ of each other in price. Even crappy Sprint isn't all that cheap after they send you the real bill (not the one they promised you when you signed up) [see some Sprint posts]. And apparently "new" customers get raked over the coals the most [see Sprint again]. So it doesn't pay to switch companies every other month either. Of course, maybe that's why I like my Verizon bill - I've been with them since 1994 and maybe they realize that...

LOL They don't care how long you've been with them. And it's funny how you say Sprint is crappy with their fees. The bad news is that everybody has random extra fees. And Sinec that's true, I'll stick to Sprint which is a considerable amount less every month with superior service.

I didn't say Spring was crappy with their fees...I said crappy Sprint. Note the difference. Their fees are comparable to everyone else's is what I said. And I got that information from reading posts on the Sprint forum....And yes, Verizon has given me discounts and even credits for things I purchased on EBAY, so don't tell me what they will and won't do for their long-term customers. But I didn't tell you to leave Sprint. That's what different cell phone cos. are for. Different people, different areas, different coverages.

Sprint as in mobile, SprintSpectrum, GTE, SprintPCS, or who have you worked for for 23 years (since 1986)

Southern Pacific Communications Company (SPCC), a unit of the Southern Pacific Railroad, began providing long-distance telephone service shortly after the Execunet II decision late in 1978. The Railroad had an extensive microwave communications system along its rights of way used for internal communications. In 1972, they began selling surplus time on that system to corporations for use as their own Private Line Network, thereby circumventing AT&T's then-monopoly on public telephony, later expanding to fiber optic cables laid along those sa...

Hahahahaha that is priceless. Maybe he has been with Sprint (or a reasonable facsimile thereof) for 23 years. All I know is in 1994 my company gave me a "bag" phone which plugged into my car's cigarette lighter (remember those?) through Bell Atlantic Mobile. I believe at the time, the only 2 cell providers in our area were Bell Atlantic Mobile and Cellular One, and it all began from there.... 🙂

Sprint is superior? To what? Two tin cans and a string? If Sprint is so "superior" why have they been losing customers hand over fist while the rest of the industry leaders are adding customers? Almost 25% of our new customers in the stores I oversee are Sprint port outs. Maybe in your little corner of the world Spring rocks but most every where else they suck it takes a lot to actually end a quarter (or year in this case) with a net loss in customers just my ten cents though.
