Basically it is a glorified name. Anyone in tech is considered a coordinator, or if you have been in Care for ever and good performing. It is just the 3rd step on the long Verizon career progression.

coordinator is the highest rank a regular rep can get at a call center. above a coordinator is a supervisor. coordinators are usually reps who take calls (tho many do not) but not normal customer service. Coordinators would be for Business support, tech support, Loyalty/marketing, etc.
