I ordered my Storm
Thanks for all the opinions and input here. I ordered mine off of the web, since the store did not have them and has no idea when they will have more.
They did have the Omnia and I liked it a lot, however, I chose the Storm because:
1. I picked a World Phone over WiFi
2. The proprietary wires for the Omnia means I would have to get new chargers across the board and always carry special adapters with me. I prefer the mini USB and 3.5 head phone jack that comes with the Storm
BTW. I had asked all over about Youtube on the Omnia, I tried it in the store and it worked with no problem.
Now, I just hope VZW can get the Storm to me before I leave town for the Christmas holidays.

check the software version (Menu, Options, About) and make sure its up to date. the latest software version as of right now is 4.7.0.76 (not fully avail publicly yet)

i ordered mine too by phone last night!
i have a question since i ordered by phone if i have a problem with the phone i can go to technical support in the store correct?
also when should i get it they say no later than 12/15 but people that ordered it recently when did you recieve it or are you still waiting?

yes and no. store will help you to an extent but stores do not do software flashes for smartphones. you update your own software on a blackberry. all you need is a computer, blackberry desktop manager, and an internet connection.
You'll download the lastest OS from VZW.com or Blackberry.com etc, run the desktop manager, plug your phone in, backup your info, then let it do its thing.

I think I ordered the wrong phone. One primary reason I got the storm was because if the USB port, I did not know micro v/s mini USB. Man, I thought I did my homework too.
If it turns out that I do not want the Storm, but instead want the Omnia, will VZW let me swap out on a phone that I ordered from their website?

Also make sure that if you go for tech support, you go to a corporate store that has a tech center.
