I am so sad my PN 820 crapped out on me!
Well Verizon forum, our time on here together was short, but wonderful. I still love Verizon, but I decided that after my PN 820 crapped out on me and after I could not find a phone I liked, that I had to port back to AT&T. I will miss you and I still think you have a fantastic network, but AT&T has a better line of phones at the moment, and I need something durable that won't break the bank, and they have it.
And to the reps on here who warned me about the PN 820, you were right. Listen to your reps, kids, they know what they are talking about! My lesson is learned... I hope! 😉

They offered to send me a new one but I declined. Enough vzw reps on here told me that this phone model is crap, and I didn't listen.
Verizon was very good to me, and I went in the store today to try to do an exchange but I was going to have to pay at least a hundred extra and the phones they had were shoddy, which is NOT their fault, but the fault of the manufacturers who are pumping out crap phones.
I like Verizon, but they just don't have the phones I like at the moment. When my AT&T contract is up I will definitely consider Verizon again, if they have a phone I like.

I know my friend, I know. The phone was working great until last night. It stopped being able to make calls or receive calls despite showing full signal. So after an hour on the phone with tech support we determined it was a bad phone. Well, the PN has been known for having software issues like this, so I decided not to take their offer for another PN820 and instead I thought I'd swap it out for another handset today.
Mind you, I just left AT&T on the 3rd, paid a 175 ETF and bought the pn 820 full price on a month-to-month plan. What...

yeah that looks like a cool phone. I wish more companies would make candybar style qwerty's. I think many people want the look of a blackberry (or other smartphone), but they dont want the data plan. The slate def fills a void in the market place.
